The MINDxAI Lab is pleased to share that Dr. Yunmei Liu received this Kentucky Transportation Cabinet award to advance teen driver safety education in Kentucky.
The project will examine ways to better understand teen driver safety and support the development of effective safety-focused education and intervention approaches for young drivers in Kentucky. The work reflects the MINDxAI Lab’s broader commitment to human-centered transportation research and safer communities.
Dr. Liu will lead the project with Robert Kluger, Associate Professor in the University of Louisville’s Department of Civil Engineering, serving as Co-PI. The collaboration brings together expertise in human factors, transportation safety, and engineering to address an important challenge facing Kentucky families and communities.
