Our Collaborative Research on Human–Autonomy Teaming Presented at the NSF M3X PI Meeting

On May 7, 2026, Dr. Liu attended the NSF M3X Principal Investigator Meeting, where she and collaborator Dr. Kaber presented their collaborative research on human-autonomy teaming.

Human-Autonomy Teaming Collaboration

At the meeting, the MINDxAI Lab joined collaborators from Oregon State University (lead institution) and University of Florida to share ongoing research on human-autonomy teaming, with a focus on the design, measurement, and empirical analysis of effective human-autonomy collaboration.

The project reflects the lab's broader interest in modeling human state, cognition, performance, and decision-making to support safer and more effective AI-enabled systems.

I was grateful to attend the NSF M3X PI Meeting and share our collaborative work on human-autonomy teaming with colleagues from Oregon State University and the University of Florida.

The meeting brought together many inspiring mentors, peers, and supportive program directors. I learned a great deal from the conversations and also had the chance to reconnect with collaborators and friends.
