Udit Kumar Das's research grant application was approved by the University of Louisville Graduate Student Council.
The funding will support Udit Kumar Das's master's thesis research on physiological patterns of novice drivers under aggressive driving conditions. The broader goal is to contribute to traffic safety and smarter driver training and assistance systems.

Happy to share that my research grant application has been approved by the University of Louisville's Graduate Student Council!
The funding will support my master’s thesis research on the physiological patterns of novice drivers when they encounter aggressive driving conditions. The goal is to contribute to traffic safety and eventually contribute to smarter driver training and assistance systems.
I am especially grateful to my advisor, Dr. Yunmei Liu. None of these would have been possible without her constant support and mentorship.
I also want to thank my MINDxAI Lab mates, Yan Chen and Moajjem Hossain Chowdhury, for their help with the experiment setup. Also want to thank Dr. Jacob Maxwell Read for the helpful conversations and ideas during the application process.
Still a lot of work ahead, but this is an important step forward!
